Data Archive 2006-2026

Original War

The Original-War.net Community has been with us for more than two decades, and many of its members have supported our small yet remarkably dedicated scene for even longer. Over the years, countless people have passed through the website, the forum, social media, and various community initiatives - to the point where, at one stage, it was jokingly said that half of the active scene consisted of our own team members. Beyond them, all our users have contributed enormously to the development not only of the community, but of the game itself.

In this way, an extensive database was created - one that serves not only future modders or game statisticians, but also everyday players. To ensure it does not share the fate of many sites that have vanished without a trace, we have chosen to continue hosting it on our server so that you can keep benefiting from it!

Categories of Archived Data

Below, we present links to key archival materials that together form a picture of the Original War community between 2006 and 2026.

Multiplayer Ranking

  1. Original War Player Rankings

The growing number of players in the scene quickly turned into increased competition between them. Skilled individuals were increasingly recognised, and the community began forming its own clans. Almost immediately, discussions emerged about the need for a ranking system that would officially identify the best Original War players.

Thanks to our cooperation with Stucuk, the ability to record match results was built directly into the game and integrated with Original-War.net community accounts.

Below is a link to the archive containing detailed information on all ranked matches played within our ClanBase between 2011 and 2026.

  2. Master Server

From the moment the game was released, GameSpy Arcade served as the main platform for on-line matches in Original War - until the day GameSpy ended its technical support. As GSA became increasingly slow and outdated, the community began searching for alternative solutions.

The answer turned out to be simple: to create our own central server that would catalogue and display available online matches. This server would also handle the popular global chat.

And that is how the Master Server project was born.

The Master Server was originally created by Stucuk and was later expanded with a detailed list of all matches played, which were also aggregated on our server. Below, we provide the complete archive of these matches from the years 2017-2026.

  3. Statistical Yearbooks

With the launch of the Master Server, all related activity was recorded by our portal, and statistics on the matches created were presented in real time. This allowed everyone to observe how the level of activity and the number of organised matches changed from year to year. Today, we preserve this data in its original, unaltered form.

The following statistics cover the entire period from 2007 to 2026.

  4. Speedrun Ranking

Several years ago, we expanded the Original War speedrun ranking system on Speedrun.com, which was subsequently integrated into our website. Over the years, it collected the results of the world’s best runners.

Below we provide access to the complete archive from 2019-2026.

Forum

  1. Forum

An off-line archive commemorating the most important posts that appeared on our forum between 2006 and 2026.

In 2007, a section was created to collect ready-to-use source codes and other modding-related materials, created and described by the most active forum users - both as part of mutual assistance and during regularly organised competitions for the best article or guide. Our aim was to provide beginner players with knowledge in the most accessible form possible.

  2. Organised Tournaments

From the very beginning, our mission was to energise the community, among other things by organising tournaments - including the largest one in history, the Original War Tournament 2019.

Wishing for this history to continue, we have archived the most important of these events.

What comes next?

These have been two wonderful decades of shared history. By preserving the chapters behind us, we move forward with the next twenty years in mind - and our goal remains unchanged: to provide you with the most valuable content and updates.

Stay with us so you don’t miss what’s new on the scene!
