Forum rules in English

§1. First steps

1. Before you ask a question, use the “Search” option and check the FAQ article on the website.
2. Describe the topic of your thread well, topics such as ”…”, “error”, “read this”, “problem”, etc. will be renamed or removed.
3. If you are asking a question, write down all the related details about it so that people on the forum can be more helpful.
4. DO NOT DOUBLE POST! - if you want to add something to your post after you have just posted in a thread, edit or remove your existing post - don’t write a new one under it.
5. Do not repost topics needlessly. Use the search function instead and post in the relevant ones.

§2. Forum tidyness

1. Try to keep your posts on topic while posting in a thread. Off-topic posts may be deleted at the discretion of the moderators.
2. Don’t post in very old threads unless you have something good to add.
3. Excessive spamming on the forum will be met with temporary bans.
4. We do not discuss personal topics on the forum.

§3. Forum content

1. Do not overuse swearing.
2. Commercial advertising on the forum that is unrelated to Original War is not allowed.
3. Posts calling to or relating to acts or items banned by the current law of the Republic of Poland, including content calling to racial, ethnic or religious hate, breaking the netiquette, erotic or insulting other members of this forum will be deleted and the offending user may be banned.
4. All posts violating copyright laws by containing links to warez and illegal downloads will be removed or edited at the discretion of the moderating team.

§4. Signatures/Avatars

1. Content
   1. All signatures and avatars are a part of the post that they are placed under, and have to comply with all terms stated in §3.
   2. The maximum allowed size of an image placed in the signature is 550x150px with a filesize of 100kB.
   3. The maximum allowed size of the whole signature is 200px.
2. Staff (Administrators/Moderators)
   1. The site staff reserves itself the right to remove a signature or avatar of a user that is deemed inappropriate for the forum, regardless of its compliance with the rules.

§5. Final points

1. The Original-War.net staff is not responsible for content posted on the forum that does not belong to the actual members of staff.
2. The Original-War.net staff reserves itself the right to a temporary shut down of the forums without stating any reasons.
3. Breaking the above rules will be met with warnings or in severe cases account bans. Three warnings on the forum will automatically cause the user account to be banned.
4. The Original-War.net staff reserves itself the right to change the rules of the forum at any time without a stated reason.
5. These rules are in effect from the moment of their publication.
